Wilson Electronics Sleek

  by (cnet.com) - Apr 2010

cnet.com

The Wilson Sleek noticeably improves your cell phone signal in areas with poor reception. Also, it has a compact, user-friendly design

The Wilson Sleek doesn't securely accommodate the smallest cell phones and it won't support Nextel or overseas GSM networks

The Wilson Sleek is easy to use and performs well. Just make sure that it supports your phone.

DOA

  by N/A (newegg.com) - Okt 2010

I wish New Egg would just let me return it, since it will be useless to me after the RMA. I should have ordered it from a different retailer that would allow a return.

Learning how the New Egg RMA process works

DOA ; Once I received the product, I realized that it is not truly "universal", as it only works with AT&T GSM phones for 3G ; If the replacement works at all, I'll be limited to Edge on my T-Mobile Nexus One. This is due to it boosting the AT&T 3G...

This is an update of my 1st review. Just wanted to give you an indication of the drastic difference this device makes (from NO SERVICE to 4 bars)

This thing just works! I went to the deer camp this weekend where we have no signal at all - not even while standing outside. Put my iphone along with testing other hunters phones and I went from NO SERVICE to 4 bars with internet (3G). Its amazing

NEXTEL phone didn't work with it

Great Product

  by TimA (newegg.com) - Aug 2010

I had a problem with the antenna that came with my unit. I called tech support, and the first time I was given the run-around. I emailed tech support (wasn't happy with the answer) and a product manager contacted me went beyond my expectations to make...

Boosts signal dramatically. I have service now in places I normally don't have service. This product really works

I installed this in my Ford Focus and don't really have a good place to mount it. Also, I tried running the antenna cable from the back of the car (via the hatchback) and the cable is a little short. Have to leave it betweent the seats - no good way to...

Poor Service

  by TimA (newegg.com) - Aug 2010

newegg.com

I mounted everything up in my car already, ran the antenna only to find it damaged. Now I have to go thru removing everything out and packaging it back up, get an RMA, etc. Not sure why they didn't want to just swap out the antenna - sure would have...

Not sure yet

Antenna SMA end was damaged. Called Wilson Tech Support three times before getting someone to answer. Tech is useless - said I need to send it back to NewEgg for a new one. He didn't want to be bothered with my call

Works Great

  by LINEMAN78 (newegg.com) - Jun 2010

I am not using as directed because I work in a concrete building with no windows, I still get a decent increase in signal with just having the antenna on some metal. I look forward to using it this fall when hunting to see how good it works in an...

Went from roaming to 2-3 bars (-100dB to -84dB) when I fist plugged it in. Only have to set the phone in the cradle for a drastic increase in signal. Antenna cord is pretty long and magnet is strong

Mounting bracket is not very tall, kinda awkward if not mounting vertically. No wall adapter. No short usb cord for accessory power to charge phone

Wilson Electronics Sleek Mobile Phone Signal Cradle Booster for Most Mobile Phones

  by JaredH123 (bestbuy.com) - Sep 2010

My home is in a rural location in central Utah where cell service is anything but amazing. I frequently travel the old highway roads to get from one place to another and often times go through areas where it is completely dead (no bars) for several...

Stronger cell signal, longer battery life

Phone has to be in a cradle. Not a big deal to me, but might be to others
