We got this to use at a cabin that doesn't have a stove and it's worked great. Soups, chili and stew heats up quickly and it cooks eggs great. I would highly recommend this burner.

It heats up quickly. Boils water easily, which many other products out there do not do. It is solid. Doesn't feel like a cheap piece of junk.

From the description of the product I was led to believe that it was an induction heater. But it is not. I am not sure if the internal method of heating is done by induction. It really is a hot-plate. But it does the job of small electric burner.
