having dicarded my old sony recorder(3yrs old) i aquired this and using tdk cdr's i can honestly say it is far superior to the sony the discs so far have all worked perfectly yet the sony ones costing £1 each had a 50% failure rate..

Vwery pleased with the purchase of the Teac CDR W890. In particular like the analogue L-R inputs which I do make use of quite alot. Other more expensive models no longer include this feature so was pleased when I discovered this model.

stops recording after 8 seconds if it does not receive any signal, which means if you are recording and there is a gap of noise of 8 seconds you have to start recording again,on a different track. so I went back to my music tape cassettes
