Not bad for the price. I will buy again.
Installed this and connected 1 SATA 100gb hdd for a backup and 1 IDE dvd-rom for backup. Both drives seem to work great without any problems. No software needed for installation. Windows 7 recognized and installed it successfully
None so far

I was taking an older machine and updating it to use the card to support the new cheap drives. For me, it was just easier to get the machine running Win7.
Cheap. Haven't really tested the performance, but for the price, i'm not expecting a monster. Comes with all the drivers from Win98 to vista (Win7 natively supported)
Remember that you can't boot off this device unless your MB supports it and the drivers come on a CD which have to be put on a floppy if you expect WinXP to be able to use them during install

I should have paid closer attention to the reviews.
It booted once after multiple tries and I started to transfer files onto my additional HDD. I promptly received a BSOD. I give it one star for the 1 time it worked (partially) out of 5 attempted boots

Really Flimsy IMO

Several other reviews have said that this card works great with Win 7 x64. When I installed, first two reboots were BSOD just after login, and third worked. This has continued to be the case. Card does not claim to function with Win 7 at all, but I...
Simple installation, functions well when functioning properly
BSOD around 2/3 of restarts

For $10. What do u want, wireless IDE ...hmm..
Card was simple to install and get my drives running. I had good drives laying around with plenty of sata and no IDE. This was an enexpensive way to do it
Cable is kind of short so reaching across your motherboard from the pci slot to the drives didn't really cut it. I had to move one of my drives down in the drive bays so that it was closer. Both drives were reachable then

The description of the card is double talk. It doesn't state it isn't bootable. It simply states "When you need an inexpensive way to add hard drives to your system,". But all controllers can be used for that purpose. If it isn't bootable like nearly...
Works as expected when used for second controller
Will not act as bootable SCSI type controller. Tried with Seagate 500GB SATA HDD. No controller config options or drive detection screen following POST. Only useable on a system bootable from a different controller and this used as the second....

Have an old Pent3 Compaq that wouldn't recognize 500gb internal hard drive. Wanted for home network storage. Bought 80gb hard drive from NewEgg, Love it. Returned 500gb internal to big box. Have an external that works fine with my newer. Vostro laptop.
Very inexpensive. Easy to plug in to machine. Great solution if it works
Very challenging to find drivers on set up disk. Included instructions send you to a directory that doesn't exist. Downloaded drivers from Via site as other reviewer suggensted. W2K installed card, but it still doesn't recognize hard drive. I could...
