Works Fine

The only issue I had was that I initially inserted the ExpressCard upside down so it seemed not to work at first. I have a vertical case and the ExpressCard needs to be inserted with the top facing down. A quick look at the lettering next to the...

I'm running Win7x64 Ultimate and conversion card fit the PCI-E slot solidly and works. There is no driver to install and the card is completely transparent to the operating system, so there was no way to tell if it was working until the Rosewill IEEE...

None with the card so far, however in the Newegg.com details spec it appears as if the card provides "Internal USB Ports : 1x USB Port" which it does not. The internal USB port is used with an accompanying cable to connect the conversion card to a...

Don't get it if you CrossFireX

  by ZC (newegg.com) - Feb 2011

Would be nice if this just worked without needing the USB connection. Would be really nice if I could find a version of this that will mount in the front of my case and use an IDE or SATA connection, instead of hogging a card slot and a USB connection....

Easy to install if you have a free slot and a free USB connection on your motherboard. ExpressCards are nice and snug in this, and seem to be firmly held in place

Requires a USB connection from your motherboard to the card, and won't work with it. If you have an average motherboard and case, and use a multi-card reader, you probably won't have a connection to spare ; The real problem is that it uses the...

SYBA offered to RMA. However, the price to ship is more than half the unit cost. Basically, I lose. Period. It's past the NewEgg time period also. Fact is, I was busying RMA two WDC HDD I bought that I never got to this and realized it was bad too.

PCI-E x1 Slot Required

  by Master_Taco (newegg.com) - Mai 2010

I believe the USB header on the card it's self is so you can plug whatever you had to unplug to put the USB portion of the card in. For instance if you unplugged a USB port for the front of your machine to plug the card in, you can plug that USB port...

The card works well, I used it to use my laptop's AverMedia TV tuner, and there are no issues so far, after driver install. The USB-B connection is great if you have a PCI USB card with a USB-A connection on the inside, and no available MOBO header (as...

The card (for whatever reason) requires that it's plugged into a PCI-E x1 slot. I don't know if it's my motherboard (MSI 790FX - GD70) or what, but this card will NOT work in a PCI-E x16 slot, even though other cards that are 1x work in the x16 slots....

It's okay, could be better

If it supported hot swapping it would be the perfect card. Inexpensive, but gets the basic job done.

It works ; It's cheap ; LEDs to reveal if the device is PCIe or USB ; Comes with a handy internal USB cable ; Easy install ; Easy use

Not hot swappable. You have to restart the computer with the desired ExpressCard in the adapter in order for it to work and be detected by Windows ; Though no drivers are required for the card itself, there is a driver website in the documentation that...

Works as expected

  by Jon (newegg.com) - Dez 2009

You need drivers for whatever Expresscard you will be using, not this card. This card, by itself, doesn't even show up in the Device Manager since the computer really doesn't know or care that it is there. Only the Expresscard will show up. In my case,...

Works as expected. Simply converts a pcie slot to handle Expresscards, baasically a passive device. NO DRIVERS ARE REQUIRED for this card, since it simply changes the physical format from an internal card slot, to an external Expresscard slot. Since...

Needs a decent instruction sheet. I figured out the USB hookup pretty quick, but noobies might have a problem. For reference, the provided cable attached to the card with the large square USB connector (like the one on a scanner or some printers), and...

Works

Requires at least one usb header to work. this may cause problems for some users. As stated, this Card will only work with USB Express Card devices. I dont consider this a con because i only have 1 express card device and it works fine for me.

Works great with my Avermedia HC80 Hybrid Tuner. Doesnt need drivers to work. Works great with Vista 32/64 and Windows 7 Beta 1

The express card fits in a little weird. Its almost as if the socket is a little bit too small so it scrapes a little when it goes in ; you have to be watchful when installing the card into the pcie slot because the express card slot gets somewhat...

Works without a hitch.

Using it for an expresscard wireless N adapter. Works fine.

Plugged it in and was good to go. No configuration needed. Nice price

It was a bit of a tight fit for the expresscard device, but not a problem

Works as advertised

  by N/A (newegg.com) - Jan 2009

another poster doesn't seem to understand that there are USB cards and PCIE cards when he claimed this "only supports USB based Express Cards."

Works, i didn't plug the card in to a usb header on the motherboard as i don't intend on using with usb express cards. Works with a AVerMedia HC82U card

Doesn't support hot plugging... but i don't think any do
