Backwards compatibility. Sleek led layout. Works as it should with its own power adapter

Had power loss issues with mine connected internally and kept getting a message in windows- "One of the USB devices has exceeded the power limits...." Had to disconnect the internal power and use the power adapter that came with it. I kept mine...

So far everything. I purchased this for two reasons mounts internally & fits into a 3.5 slot. Comes with all necessary hardware usb 3.0 cable, mounting screws, standing dock for external use, & ac adapter

Not a con for me, but the usb ports are upside down

In spite of the upside-down ports, I recommend this hub to any user who has/is getting USB 3.0 but whose case doesn't have front-panel ports. I know USB 3.0 headers are essentially nonexistent on current motherboards, but that will change, and besides,...

Just one I can think of: If mounting internally the USB ports are upside down. It's a non-issue except with flash drives with activity lights (and only a minor issue even then) but I'd prefer it where I could see the activity lights for my drives that...
