Scythe KAMA FLOW 2 SP0825FDB12H 80mm Case Fan

  by N/A (newegg.com) - Feb 2012

CPU cooler is Noctua NH-D14, cooling an i7 920 at stock settings. Case is mid-tower with front-to-back cooling only, positive pressure, so rear exhaust has to be significant while not more than intake. Works perfectly.

These fans replaced two Enermax Magma fans, one of which began to fail. They are being used as rear exhaust fans in a Lian Li PC-62 case. They definitely move more air than the Enermax fans, and are fairly quiet. I can't tell any difference in the...

Included screws are larger than most "fan screws" and strip easily

Does the job well.

Fans of this size generally have good airflow no matter who makes them, but it's often at the expense of increased noise. No such problems here, this is extremely quiet. The only time I ever hear it at all is when I have the computer's case open.

This fan is very quiet, and airflow is great

One of the best 120mm fans

  by N/A (newegg.com) - Dez 2011

To the guy complaining that there are no instructions, who the heck needs instructions to install a fan...!!?? No arrow to indicate airflow? Everyone knows that the air flows in the direction of the grille.

Quiet ; Attractive ; No motor noise ; This fan is quieter than a Nexus fan undervolted to the same RPM

Will not move a lot of air, but anyone buying a 900RPM fan is not buying it for max CFM and already knows this. If not than it's your fault for not doing research. There are faster versions of this fan, but I have super sensitive hearing and any fan...

No witty fan puns here..

These are great air flow/noise ratio fans. Get 'em!

Quiet (not "quite"). Replaced my 900 rpm version of the YP-yada-yada with these and don't notice much/any difference in noise. FDB. Scythe quality

Pricey

Quiet and Functional

  by Nick (newegg.com) - Mär 2011

It's a fan, so there's nothing extraordinary here. It's low-priced, quiet, and works well.

Very quiet. I installed it as a second intake fan and I literally can't even hear it running from 5 feet away. Installation was very easy with the included 4-pin adapter

Air flow is slightly lower than I thought it would be, but it gets the job done

Very Quiet Bearing

  by CrzyCanuck (newegg.com) - Feb 2011

newegg.com

The vibration from the bearing on my previous fan was driving me nuts. So I went with a Scythe fan. At full speed air-flow is great and the sound of the air moving and the sound of the bearing are very quiet.

Moves air well for it's RPM. The fluid dynamic bearing is very quiet compared to the Lian-Li 120mm fan that came with my case

No anti-vibration screws included. For it's price range you thing they would be included
