Super fast, super toasty

The 7950 is a beast. It runs every game at the highest res and highest quality settings with EVERYTHING turned all the way up

I had a few driver issues when I first got it going but now all is well. Now I need a new [good] monitor. It puts out a lot of heat but don't they all. Make sure you have plenty in cool air coming in or if you live in a hot climate, deal with it

It is a large card and requires TWO power connectors in order to work - not much of an issue with today's power supplys but worth mentioning if you're not used to buying high end cards. Also make sure you have plenty of room around your PCIe slots...

Graphically intense games have not fazed this card in the slightest whether it be Crysis, Dead Space, Surpreme Commander, or any game currently on the market...I have yet to lag on a single game

upgraded to the EK-FC7950 block that just came out and my new temps are 28c idle with OC at 975 and 1350 and 35c underload with furmark. Great card but needs a better cooling solution or if you watercooling like me then just buy the waterblock for it...

Super fast card awsome frame rates

WAY to hot. i upgraded from a 6950 which stayed at 40c OC underload and this card stock gets to 55c underload with fan at 100%. took off 1 egg because this card is way to hot for the stock cooler at 100% with no OC and temps are what they are. if the...

Awesome Card Worth the Money

  by N/A (newegg.com) - Mär 2012

Card is a beast, it rips through any game out now with out hassle. I used to play BF3 with 5850 and on high settings would struggle to keep an avg 35fps at 1080. This thing gets an avg of 56fps on ultra everything cranked at 1080. It also is the same...

Who is the baddest? ShoAMD'Nuff! See how many people get that referance lol

Nothing can stop it..... it laughs at games that previously made other cards sweat.... crysis 1 and 2, BF3, TOR.... no settings bother it no matter how high @ stock clock settings

this thing exceeds the width of the motherboard by about 1 inch (maybe a bit less) so make sure you have plenty of room

Got this for my new build. Its replaced a 9800 gtx so it was a huge upgrade. This thing is a monster. Without OC i was getting between 40-60fps in bf3 in 32-64 player games. After I OC to 1000mhz its putting up a consistant 55-60 fps with settings...
