A lot of times when I read reviews on Newegg I think most of the negative reviews stem from a person failing to understand how to correctly install or setup a product. I can tell you that isn't the case here. I installed it in several different slots...
It came packaged well

So far, this was the only one that worked in XP 64bit. Tried 4 others and they just lock up the computer ; Easy to install and it was found right away. No drivers needed

It will support Wireless N cards. I currently have a Belkin Wireless N in and it has no issue with it. Even though the description states it supports (a\b\g).
This was exactly what I was looking for. The installation was as easy as putting in a PCI card and there was no drivers or software to install. I like it so much, thinking about ordering a more and updating my other PCs the same way. Highly recommend
Not really a con, but as another user stated the PCMCIA card will upside down so that the lights will be visible. I find this to my liking since I can see the status of my card without turning my monitor on

Using with my EMU 1616m on an XP 32 bit desktop. Inserts upside down but not an issue for me. Been using it for about 3 weeks now. No issues with recording audio or the audio interface connections.

I tired this adapter with Orinoco 11Mb Silver WiFi card, and the card wasn't recognized on Windows XP even with the original Orinoco driver. Also, Orinoco is supposed to work with OpenSolaris/SPARC, however with this adapter it wasn't recognized at all...
