Razer Onza

  by Fabien Pionneau (digitalversus.com) - Apr 2011

digitalversus.com

The Razer Onza controller is fully PC compatible and doesn't require a driver. Just plug it into your PC's USB port and it's ready to use! We would have been surprised to see anything less too, since Razer has based its reputation on making...

Excellent design and handling that even beats the original ; Responsive buttons and controls ; Accurate D-pad arrows ; Lightweight design

D-pad arrows a little stiff ; Noisy trigger buttons

The Razer Onza brings increased responsiveness and accuracy to XBOX gaming controls. Gamers looking for boosted performances will no doubt love it, while others will appreciate its more comfortable design and handling compared with the official...

Razer Onza Xbox 360 Controller Review

  by Scott Lowe (gear.ign.com) - Apr 2011

gear.ign.com

The first console controller from one of PC gaming's most trusted brands comes close to greatness, but falls short due to a few key issues.

Razer Onza

While some gamers may prefer a wireless controller to this one, there are plenty of reasons why this is such a good buy. Because the Razer Onza is wired, you don't have to worry about batteries or running out of power at critical points. The controller...

We liked the fact that this gamepad works on an Xbox 360 as well as a PC

This gamepad is wired so it can feel like you are tethered to the computer, but that means you don't need batteries

It's a top-notch wired controller that is setup to work on your PC or an Xbox 360. This gamepad has a 15-foot cable, giving you a lot of movement options even though you are attached to the console.

Razer Onza

Razer Onza

  by Ove Kaufeldt (fz.se) - Jul 2011

  by constantnation (dooyoo.de) - Mär 2012

More bang for your buck - Razer has done it again!

  by Azmart (cnet.com) - Jul 2011

I like it a lot better than my Xbox 360 controllers. It's lighter and more fun to play with. It's much easier to fine tune your control using both the sticks and the triggers since they have a longer range of motion. For the same price you can ......

Mechanical switches, higher sticks, configurable buttons, 15ft cable

No wireless (Microsoft licensing is a pain), D-Pad not optimal for fighting games

not worth it

  by N/A (newegg.com) - Feb 2012

newegg.com

standard 360 controller is a better choice

Adjustable tension on sticks ; somewhat programable buttons ; start/select button location ; sensitive sticks

Audio port broke after 4 months ; horrible triggers ; limited programable buttons ; cheap construction ; lighted buttons are worthless and distracting ; right/left bumpers are tiny and right on top of programed buttons

After about 2 months the controller began constantly pointed downward soooo build quality is not great.

Good sticks, love the clickable buttons

didn't like the trigger buttons that much

Good while it lasted, but horrible support in the end!

I wish I could give this 0 (zero) eggs and I'm VERY sure all the other 1 egg people do as well. Please keep in mind that none of this has been Newegg.com fault...in fact I'm gonna go buy a Microsoft 360 controller to use or find a wireless adapter to...

When it worked it worked just as well as my wireless MS Xbox 360 controller, but that's it

I thought the extra button on each side would be nice, but I found myself hitting them by accident a lot and never got any good use out of them. After less than average use my left analog stick started to have issues when I'd go forward. Too far...

Razer Onza Professional Gaming Controller

  by Videogamer (newegg.com) - Sep 2011

newegg.com

the extra programmable button could have been placed by middle finger. Playing modern warfare on xbox and assigning it as my knife button is pretty far to reach. it's pretty much the same distance and delay as if you were pressing B

The stiffness adjustment is nice

After a few months of use the right analog stick would start pulling down even if im not pushing it downward. It would go away if you flick it but it keeps coming back

Great controller all in all. The build is very sturdy and the shape is very nice unlike other 3rd partycontrollers and the grip on the controller stops your hands from getting sweatywhen playing as well! The directional pad is amazing as well! so much...
