Compared to our last 'budget' cd player this is the bees knees. Sound quality is great - especially for the low price we paid for it (well actually it was club card points - so would have paid for it!!)

The larger than life volume control on the top takes a lot of turning to turn up the volume

Basic unit ideal for kitchen, workshop etc

The Dynamic Bass Boost function really helps when listening to the right sort of music - lyrics are clear in any setting, and the speaker holds up well at higher volumes. An excellent piece of kit for the money

The player seemed rugged, and up to the job

Controls seem to be hidden in the sides, but quite functional

Easy to use, once I knew where all the buttons were I didn't need my glasses to use them. I would go for one of these again if the need arose. The sound quality is really good and my country music sounds fantastic on it, better than on my old one

Just a little thing I would have prefered it to be a little narrower on the depth ie front to back and perhaps the writing on the buttons in a darker colour, but apart from that it's a brilliant piece of kit
