Motorola MC75

Enterprises looking to deploy a rugged, versatile mobile device will be impressed by the Motorola MC75's range of features. However, you pay a premium for smartphone functionality in a hardened form; this phone is not only tough, it is massive to the...

Monstrous battery ; The option of an even more monstrous battery ; Very tough — dust and water resistant ; Large QWERTY keypad ; Excellent Assisted GPS ; A useful range of accessories ; Encryption options

You will pay a high price for a hardened device ; Large bright display eats into battery life ; Doesn't charge over USB ; No 3.5mm headphone jack ; Large to the point of being unwieldy

Businesses looking to deploy a fully featured and rugged device for mobile data entry won't be disappointed. However, the additional protection and connectivity mean the Motorola MC75 costs almost twice as much as most modern smartphones.

I don't know if it's the software or what but this device is absolutely useless for looking at wiring diagrams or searching product literature on the net. Not only is it super slow but the screen is so small that you cannot make anything out. I also...

Clearly one of the best ruggedized mobile computers on the market; it is unfortunate the product is reviewed here as a smartphone.

One of the best rugged mobile computers on the market ; Backwards compatible with the MC70 range of accessories (save for the batteries and trigger handle)

No trigger handle ; Some configurations are quite expensive

I have to agree that the editor is way off based. This is comical. He is putting this up to a couple of consumer phones. Does he really even know what the MC75 is??? Wow.
