I don't even own a 360, but now I have this controller. Makes playing PC games so much easier than using certain other controllers that were supposedly made for it.

This is a great controller and I use it all of the time to play most of my steam games, it's a blast to be able to map keys to an xbox controller in whatever configuration you like and then sit at your desk and play.
Very nice finish, won't visibly become dirty. You can plug in a xbox headset and use it as a microphone. Great response on the various inputs. Is plug and play
Doesn't come with it's own profile management software that maps keys from the keyboard, however there are free and robust programs out there that do so, the one I personally use is xpadder

Works great! I've owned a wireless 360 controller for the console since 2005 but purchased a wired controller for PC gaming needs. I've had an old logitech PS2-clone controller since about 2004 but wanted something of a little higher caliber for...

Of every game controller I've used, the Xbox 360 controller is my second favorite, bested only by the original "larger" Xbox controllers that soon were replaced by smaller ones. This controller is, in my opinion, the best controller out today.
Long cord ; Easy to set up (Plug and play) ; Solid controller
If forced to nit-pick...the left trigger squeaks a bit. Nothing I can't fix. Also maybe I didn't read thoroughly enough but I glanced at the instructions that came with it, and there was no mention of Windows 7. It's not really necessary, since it's...

Perfect for a gaming controller
Plug and Play ; Very nice no need for batteries ; Tried with a few games I had in steam and worked just fine ; Cable is very long
Balky (This is more or less me being a Playstation fan at normal, these controllers are kind of big, but I went into this knowing that)

It works fine on the Xbox 360 too, I plugged it into the Kinect Xbox and worked just fine. Saves you money on batteries as well!
Plugged the controller into my computer and Windows 7 detected it immediately and installed the drivers required. Games such as Skyrim which natively support Xbox 360 controllers ran perfectly, just had to put the checkmark to run with Controller and...
The cord is 9 feet long, but that's not really a problem
