The WRT150N is an inexpensive wireless router for those who want to move to 802.11 draft-n networking, but, don't expect a major improvement over 802....
Fast 802.11g speed, well-priced, URL and keyword filtering, SPI firewall enabled by default, ran cool during our tests
Slower-than-expected 802.11 draft-n performance, Web interface sluggish at times, Web interface doesn't have a 'restart' setting, lacks QoS settings
The WRT150N delivers plenty of features at a competitive price-point. Its 802.11 draft-n networking is slow, but its 802.11g performance is excellent. It ran cool during our tests, was easy to set up and use, but its Web interface is sluggish at times.

The Linksys WRT160N comes in a compact, sleek design. It sports an easy-to-use Web interface and offers a good set of networking features. Its included software is very helpful for setting it up with both Macs and PCs.
The Linksys WRT160N doesn't support the faster Gigabit standard for wired connection, nor does it have USB support.
The Linksys WRT160N Wireless-N broadband router has consistent performance, good range, a helpful software application, and a good set of networking features. Its lack of Gigabit and USB support are the only major knocks against it.

If you're looking for a simple workhorse Wireless-N router, you'll be happy with the WRT160N, especially considering you can get it online for $80 or less.

The Linksys WRT150N occupies the budget end of the draft-n router market.
The Linksys WRT150N is a well-specified budget router. It's a good choice for those who want the range benefits of draft-n but don't need the other features - or the extra expense.

Consumers and even some smaller businesses on a tight budget could get basic features and reasonable wireless throughput from the Linksys WRT150N Wireless-N Home Router.
Lots of features. Easy to use.
No Gigabit. Limited top-end speed.
This router combines good speed, an easy-to-use interface, and a low price, making it a good choice for value-conscious consumers and smaller businesses.

This budget router provides good throughput and range for the price, but you'll need an expensive connection card if your notebook doesn't have 802.11n.
Good throughput for price ; Powerful setup program ; Excellent security
Expensive PC Card adapter ; Not nearly as fast as premium 802.11n routers ; No Gigabit Ethernet support

The Linksys WRT150N Wireless-N Home Router goes against the grain of new routers providing faster throughput, and for good reason. Linksys designed this router for those home users who want improved range over standard 802.11g routers, but don't want...
Linksys makes setup easy for newbies; great throughput at long range; offers the latest security features; low price for an 11N router
Linksys scaled back the warranty for this product to one year
The Linksys WRT150N is a great router option for those who want the range improvement of 11N but don't need the other features--or the steep price tag.

Konfiguration super + Reichweite normal

I guess it's true you get what you pay for. It was trouble free for about 6 months and it's been downhill every since. Signal strength was continuously up and down. I have had it for about 18 months and it now drops connections on average of 5 times an...
Price was inexpensive
Continuously drops connection

Do not buy this!!!
Hmm none i can think of
Bought this 2 years ago. Drops connection about 5 times a week, requiring me to unplug power to reset it. I have had many many wireless routers, this is the worst I have ever owned

Tech support was no help. They suggested I should get another wireless card, and were happy to sell me one. After continued problems. Called tech support again and they informed me that they could replace it because the warranty was up? 30 days? Bought...
Its shiney
Couldn't get it sync with my laptop. Only maintains a connection for a few (2-10) minutes and then resets, even with a wired connection. Won't even allow a connection long enough to complete this review
by nl7nc (cnet.com) - Mär 2011
An absolute piece of garbage. Cisco should be ashamed to put their name on it.
None. I've been a big fan of Linksys router for a long time, but the WRT120N is an absolute piece of crap. My wireless devices won't connect properly and the router drops data packets at random. DO NOT BUY THIS ROUTER
See above

I'm not impressed! Although its a low cost compared to what Linksys routers used to be (I paid $40), you get what you pay for with this router, and even then, I'm not sure it's worth the $40. I'm returning mine.
Typically in the past I've found Linksys to be a fairly reliable wireless router. It looks like they've kept the user friendly interface and security features, but that seems to be the only think I recognize in this new Linksys product
The router is constructed with low cost materials. Setting up the router requires the CD to write to my boot setup kernel? That's strange. Aside from this, when finally set up you lose your connection on a consistent basis requiring unplugging power
by legendair1 (cnet.com) - Jan 2011
I returned mine and found for the same price D-link DIR-628 is way more stable then this router.
Sleek, and easy to setup
Works great for 3 days, After the speed of the wireless goes down, Reset required every 2-3 days. Technical support is very hard to understand and not local agents. Several problem with this router reported with multi platform access (XP-Vista-Mac)

This router has causes me nothing but frustration. I worked very well for the first few months that I had it (although I had a wirless b router before so I'm a bit biased). That is until I installed Windows 7 on my laptop. That's when the dropped...
Worked well for until I installed Windows 7. Sleek design
Loses connection consistently and is terribly slow for no apparent reason
