I own cameras where some use Compactflash and others SD cards. I can read the SD cards on my laptop but it will not accept CompactFlash. Fortunately I have a larger multi-card reader so don't have a problem.

There's not much to this reader. Functions correctly, light, compact, the usb cable is a fair length. The only problem i have with this product is where the usb cable plugs in, it sometimes disconnects easily. It accepts CF and SD cards only.
