SONY branded memory stick?

I purchased a Lexar 128MB memory stick for my Sony Cybershot P72. It is just as robust and reliable as the Sony one. in fact Sony, Lexar and Sandisc are all as good as one another and I would buy whatever one is the cheapest.

Shonky memory

Twice now I have lost data when using this stick in a Sony DSCP10. Intermittently the images can be viewed on the camera but will not upload into iphoto. The message "Format Error" just keeps appearing. I have not had this problem with Sony memory....
