You won't get all 6gb/s unless your motherboard has usb3.0/6gb/s already but that isn't this card's fault but rather the limitation of the PCI-e bandwidth

Its REALLY small. So if you are worried about case-real-estate then this is for you. Also, with it being really small, the SATA ports on it are really far away from where the hard drives are usually mounted.

Works as advertised, fast, compatible with Linux. Easy to install. Remember... if you don't have enough 1x slots, you can always put this in an 8x or 16x slot, as most people are not aware of this, it IS specified in the PCIe standard
