High Speed CF Compact Flash Card USB Reader/Writer

Received this morning. My laptop doesn't recognise it. Can't be bothered making a song and dance about it by returning it, as it only cost a couple of quid. Avoid.

Well, I plug the card, it reads and writes relatively fast, has slim design and beautiful red light. Simple and working!

For £1.87 delivered, it's obvious that we're not paying much for quality control: when these cheap gadgets work they're a great deal, but when they don't... well, it was worth a try. Yours might work; mine didn't.

Its cheap so one cannot be harsh, but my experience is because of the design if one is not careful the pins can get bent and snap. This is what happened with mine. Note that I cannot say that my use of it was absolutely careful, but I didnt do anything...

Great product. Can carry it around in your pocket or easily fits inside a camera bag/laptop bag. Does away with the ungainly USB lead. The only disappointment is it does not work with the Apple iPad USB camera kit adapter. I would have given it five...

I am quite disappointed with this gadget. Initially it was excellent, it does what it says it'll do - transfer information from compact flash cards through USB. In that respect it's fine.

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH. THE CARD WILL NOT FIT INTO THE READER. I GAVE IT ONE STAR BECAUSE IT ARRIVED BUT IS NOW A USELESS BIT OF JUNK

I bought this to read CF cards for my Sony DSLR. It's really good for when I'm on holiday as I can transfer the pics to my laptop and then use Picassa to sync them so I have complete back up. Then I can start using the card again.

This a very poorly put together device. The plastic casing just came apart after a few uses exposing the internal workings of the reader. The pins were also prone to being bent which I think is more to do with the design of how card fits into the...
