Billion BiPAC 7300N

  by Elias Plastiras (goodgearguide.com.au) - Jun 2008

Having used Billion products for around six years now, it's easy to sing the praises for this brand, which offers unparalleled value for money in the ...

Can work with ADSL2+ and cable accounts, inexpensive, QoS, customisable firewall settings, easy set-up

At this price you can't go wrong, but it was a little slow in 802.11n-only mode

You'll get plenty out of this all-in-one unit, which contains an ADSL2+ modem as well as an 802.11 draft-n access point. It's easy to use and best of all, it's very well priced.

Billion BiPAC 7300N review

Billion's BiPAC 7300N is one of the most advanced routers we've seen.

It's expensive, but the BiPAC 7300N has outstanding speed and range, lots of features and can be used with either ADSL or cable broadband.

Billion BiPAC 7300N

The Billion BiPAC 7300N is the little workhorse that could. Between this and the 7800NL we'd have a hard choice deciding, which would essentially come down to the specific features we'd want in a router.

Good throughput, especially at distance ; Optional WAN ; VLAN support

Web UI is newbie hostile ; No mechanical power button ; ADSL2+ sync speeds lower than they should be

Billion BiPAC 7300N Draft 802.11n ADSL2+/Broadband Router Review - Routers

billion bipac 7300n draft 802.11n adsl2+/broadband router review: It's not much of a looker, and it struggles in signal strength, but Billion's 7300N ADSL2+ Modem/Router has grunt where it really counts.

Good throughput, Optional WAN ports, Removable antennas

Poor signal strength, Clunky Web interface, No 5GHz option

Billion BiPAC 7300N, a good value ADSL2+ modem router

Although its design is no more exciting than a grilled cheese sandwich, the Billion BiPac 7300N is functional and easy to set up.

Billion's BiPAC7300N wireless router is good value for under $150

  by (pcauthority.com.au)

A lot of router for the money, coupled with solid performance.

But it does make the most of what it has. At close range, we recorded average transmit and receive rates of 85Mbits/sec and 58Mbits/sec, and 52Mbits/sec and 50Mbits/sec at long range, results that place the router solidly in mid-table position....

Despite the small difficulty in setting up, quiet happy so far. Wireless speeds are up compared to my old router.

NIce sleek design, no drop outs yet

Difficult to set-up with not the best instructions
