I have the Belkin N+ router which i like except the USB connection to disk whic is v e r y s l o w. The Belkin connect utility does not work very well - stick with the built in windows utility.
It is a clear improvement over G
Sometimes does not really connect. It claims to be connected @ 300 - but I have no connection. If I select repair then if it shows no more then 170 I will have a connection

Must update Belkin Router Firmware First!!! (That's if you don't have the newest model) I took the N1 card back to bestbuy and got the N Wireless Notebook Card. I fiddled around with this N card for about 2 hours. I got excellent signal strength,...

It protrudes out of the slot about 1 1/2". This is to be expected with any wireless card.
Works. Driver disk worked with a laptop running XP. The speed it noticeably faster than a similar laptop running on board wireless

upgraded my daughter desktop wireless from 802.11G to this card using a Rosewill PCI to PCMCIA Adapter Model RC-500 also from the Egg - Windows 7 installed it's own drivers - did not need the drivers disk. The connection upgraded from a max of 54Mbps...
With the sales the Egg is having - this totally rocks ; Reliable 24x7 performance ; Consistent 150Mbps ; works well with win-7 32bit
none as long as you know exactly what you're getting

On a recent trip, my Belkin wireless G card would quit working after awhile [30"...2'...different time to crapout]. Fortunately, I had Azio USB wireless which was more reliable. When this Belkin N card came up for $7.99 I decided to go for additional...
Cheap ; Able to connect to internet...finally ; Able to contact tech support
Took a call to tech support and an hour+ to get it setup ; Won't work with other Belkin PCcards installed [not running...just installed on same laptop ; Speed was 1/10th as fast as wired connection and 1/2 as fast as older Belkin Wireless G PCcard all...

2nd Belkin n wireless card from Newegg for $8. Shipping and ordering fast and painless as usual. FAST. Getting 270Mbps
270Mbps is quite a mystery since the my first card (same model) topped out @ 150Mpbs.... Same computer, driver, access point.??? Can anyone that can tell me how that works

Works very well, some speed increase even with the existing older router. Caught it as one of the daily specials for an incredible price
The included Belkin manager software did nothing but seek. After five minutes I closed it and I switched to default Microsoft wireless manager. Card was up and connected within seconds
