A Microphone at its Intended Purpose

Better isolation from tape mechanism, and is unidirectional. It has great sound and good directionality

It is so sensitive that it picks up the zoom motor of the camcorder and any other touches and bumps. It also has no battery light, weak/flimsy mounts

It has a powerful pickup of sound; Unidirectional helps in reducing ambient noise, clear sound when doing interviews, overall value for the money.

I am very pleased with this product and J&R. I highly recommend them both.

The microphone is good for it's price and does the job. The thing that bothers me is the mic has no LED or any way to indicate whether it's on or off like someone mentioned above/below. Quality is ok, still able to pick up some background noise but...

You will need to buy a stand, unless you like holding it.

I DJ via internet stream and host a daily baseball show and this mic is really great and much more professional than a headset mic. Sound is crystal clear and it does not record background noises, popping, or static hissing

Cable was a lot shorter than expected, about 2 feet long in length. Had to purchase an extension cable to reach my PC. Only reason why it lost an egg

Not worth the money for far distance

On the long distance setting it only works if your not more that 2 inches away. Don't waste your money!!!!!
