Very pleased

I often use Ubuntu Linux, which recognized the device and worked without any additional software. In Windows XP, I did need to download the Option software but that was easily done and it works well.

It was a snap to install; removed my Motorolla RAZR2 SIM, slid it into the GT Express Card, and plugged it into my laptop ; Transfer rates seem faster than when I tethered the phone via USB, either way it's nice not having to completely drain my...

None really, so far. There have been occasional throughput 'quirks' that could be AT&T Network related, particulars within my software configuration, or both

Working great in Windows 7 with the SIM card from iPhone 3GS. The speed is better than I initially expected. It also works well overseas -- Specifically I've tested it in Frankfurt, Germany and Bangalore, iIndia. If you are thinking of using it...

Can't think of any at the moment. Perhaps it is a bit smaller that will be even better - but that's a small gripe

Great pair for an iPhone 3G

  by AaronC (newegg.com) - Apr 2010

I used Globetrotter v3 software with Windows 7 and it works like a charm.

Very fast internet on the 3G network ; Works with my iPhone 3G SIM card ; I was forced to use the Option software instead of the AT&T stuff, but it's actually much nicer

the Zero-CD setup crashed, forcing me to eject the disk before the install completed, rendering that drive useless ; Can't get the card to with with Mac OS 10.6, but haven't really tried much

I'm writing this review connected on the AT&T 3g network with my express card. I had to add a new connect with these settings to get the card to connect: APN: wap.cingular Username: WAP.CINGULARGPRS.COM Password: CINGULAR1 Man this card is not bad. I...

WOW I wasn't expecting this card to be AWESOME ; I just got it today and i'm highly impressed with this card. It was easy as 1-2-3 for me. I'm using windows xp and I just followed the instructions. It was plug and play for me. I know a lot of people...

I bought this a couple months back to use in my MacBookPro. I pop my iPhone SIM in it and use the GlobeTrotter Connect software and it works great on Snow Leopard. Once plugged in you have to let it sit there a minute to find the 3G signal or you will...

None really. I'm happy with my $30 purchase
